Hi I am Jane and I am the owner of The Dog Factor dog grooming salon.
I am a qualified professional dog groomer and trained at Look North Grooming and training centre, one of the most recognised, prestigious award winning training centres in the UK. I have achieved my Higher Diploma in Dog Grooming in 2018 and am now a member of The Groomers Spotlight’.
I live in Bradford with my husband Paul. We have 2 dogs who are totally part of our family whom you will usually find at The Dog Factor with me. My passion is dogs and dog wellbeing. My two dogs are both rescue dogs and I fully understand their need and have firsthand experience in handling dogs. Katy dog is a wonderful ‘golden oldie’ Border Collie mix and Miss Bonnie is a gorgeous border collie.I say lost Katie in December 2017 and now have the addition of young Meg to my border Collie family. She is my gorgeous little baby.’
My Salon is very quiet and comfortable area located at the rear of my home in a light and airy conservatory and fully equipped with the latest modern grooming equipment. I offer a home from home experience for the dogs who come to my Salon with one to one attention. I cater for all dog breeds and all temperaments. No dog will reflective paper be turned away. I believe in working with a dog and not against them to gain their trust and help them feel comfortable with the experience.
I groom dogs to their breed standard or to the owners’ specific requirements. I am also fully qualified in the skill of hand stripping to level of distinction level 3 city and Guilds and also to diploma level.
